Core Bits
Core bits are tools used to make perforations. These tools are used to make holes or to produce carrots destined to be analyzed for mining, geotechnical or geophysical exploration purposes.
The fields of application are mining, geotechnical, geophysical, building and industrial. Generally they are mounted on core barrels whose purpose is to break, contain and bring to surface the carrot. ND produces crowns for simple core barrels type B, N; for double core barrels type T2, T6, D, BSI or for core chambers AQ, BQ, NQ, HQ, PQ and Geobor S.
On request Nexus crowns can be customized in terms of size, impregnation heights and special matrices for adapt to specific contexts according to customer needs. Nexus designs and produces tools with special dimensions and for any type of core barrel.
All Nexus crowns are available with impregnated technology in the ORION, AIRES, CAPRICORN and TAURUS lines. And in different matrices according to the material to be drilled (see enclosed matrix selection table).
All Nexus core bits are available with surface set tecnology with natural and synthetic diamond available in different sizes: 8/15, 12/20/20/30 ... depending on the material to be drilled (see matrix selection table).
All Nexud core bits are available with TSD technology with cubic or triangular diamond inserts depending on the material to be drilled (see matrix selection table)
All Nexus core bits are available with PCD technology with cylindrical inserts with different sizes: 13.44x3 / 13.44x8 / 10x8 / 8x8 / 8x3 to be defined according to the material to be drilled (see matrix selection table).
